Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Brand Communications Manager in Stellenbosch to lead brand messaging and PR initiatives. You will shape and safeguard the company’s brand identity across all touchpoints, developing and executing integrated communication strategies, and guiding media relations.

The ideal candidate brings a creative leadership style with a proven ability to build strong brands in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, PR or related field.
• MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in brand management, corporate communications, or public relations.
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing impactful brand communication strategies.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of market dynamics, consumer behavior, and media relations.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple high-priority projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive brand communication strategies that align with marketing and business objectives.
• Oversee all aspects of brand messaging, ensuring consistency across all platforms and campaigns.
• Manage media relations, including developing press materials, pitching stories, and responding to inquiries.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (marketing, sales, product) to ensure cohesive brand representation.
• Monitor brand perception and market trends, advising on strategic adjustments.
• Lead crisis communication efforts, ensuring swift and effective resolution.
