Job summary

FirstRand Corporate Centre is seeking a Personal Financial Advisor to operate within the FNB branch network. You will deliver holistic investment and life insurance solutions using the bank’s digital tools and established client ecosystem.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years' advisory experience, strong FAIS knowledge, and a track record of achieving sales and growth in a bank or insurer environment. Location spread across Gauteng and other provinces in SA.

Qualifications

• Strong financial planning and needs analysis capabilities.
• Experience with investment and life insurance products.
• Proven consultative selling and client conversion.
• Solid FAIS compliance knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive financial needs analyses and develop personalised financial plans.
• Recommend investment and insurance solutions aligned to client objectives and risk profiles.
• Engage customers within FNB branches to build advice-driven relationships.
• Convert opportunities and referrals into new business.
• Maintain long-term client relationships through periodic financial reviews.
• Achieve sales, activity, AUM and API targets.
• Maintain accurate client records and advice documentation.
• Adhere to FAIS requirements and regulatory obligations.
