Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a Financial Accountant/Analyst to partner with branches, analyse profitability, and drive commercial decision-making. The role blends financial reporting with hands-on operational insight across multiple sites.

You will work with a small team, manage month-end processes, and interact with both finance and operational stakeholders to turn data into actions that improve performance.

Qualifications

• BCom Accounting and SAICA/SAIPA articles required.
• 3-5 years' experience without articles, or 2-3 years post-articles.
• Security industry experience preferred; branch-based/field-service exposure considered.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyse financial information for branches and operational stakeholders.
• Assess branch profitability and highlight areas requiring intervention.
• Monitor financial performance and investigate unusual movements; provide reporting and commentary to management.
• Work closely with branches to unpack costs, revenue and profitability.
• Use FMR and internal systems to analyse and interpret financial data.
• Assist with financial reporting requirements and month-end activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and financial performance.
• Support the Financial Manager with operational and commercial analysis.
• Follow through on identified actions and assist in implementing improvements.
• Provide guidance and oversight to 1-2 indirect reports.
