Placements24 is seeking a Branch Manager to lead the Upington retail banking branch. You will oversee daily operations, drive business development, manage staff and ensure exceptional customer service to build community trust.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years in retail banking with two in a supervisory capacity; a proven sales and leadership track record is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Proven track record in sales, business development, and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of retail banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day branch operations, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and high service standards.
• Lead, motivate, and develop a team of banking professionals to achieve performance goals.
• Drive business development initiatives to increase customer acquisition, deposit growth, and loan origination.
• Oversee risk management and ensure adherence to all banking regulations and internal policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service, resolving complex issues and fostering customer loyalty.
