Job summary

Insomniac Events is seeking a friendly Box Office Attendant to deliver outstanding customer service at ticketing locations. You will verify orders, assist patrons with will call, and resolve scanning issues with care and efficiency.

Ideal candidates have sales and customer service experience, are comfortable with computers, and can maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. A background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test are required.

Qualifications

• Sales and customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer.
• Able to interact professionally at all levels and de-escalate situations.
• Must pass a background check and pre-employment drug/alcohol test.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers at the box office or ticketing areas with a high level of service.
• Identify and verify will call orders by name, email, and payment details to issue tickets.
• Resolve scanning issues at entrance in a timely, courteous manner.
• Process cash and card transactions accurately using POS system.
• Communicate with supervisor for unresolved questions.
• Maintain a positive, professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
• Keep work area clean and organized and provide event information as needed.
• Understand festival details and provide accurate information to attendees.
• Answer attendee questions proactively and helpfully.
• Follow safety procedures and know evacuation locations prior to shows.
• Report to Box Office Management.
