Job summary

Network Finance is seeking a proactive Bookkeeper to join their finance team based in the Western Suburbs of Durban. The role covers the full bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance, including reconciliations, processing creditors and debtors, and payroll administration.

The ideal candidate has a Diploma or Degree in Accounting/Finance, 3–5 years’ bookkeeping experience, and strong Excel skills; Sage experience and ERP exposure are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years bookkeeping experience.
• Experience up to Trial Balance with reconciliations.
• Payroll knowledge and exposure.
• Advanced Excel skills and Sage experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage the bookkeeping function up to Trial Balance.
• Perform monthly bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
• Oversee the debtors and creditors function.
• Assist with payroll processing and related administration.
• Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare financial information for management reporting.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist with month-end processes and ad hoc finance duties.
