Job summary

Persona Staff is seeking an experienced bookkeeper to manage debtors and creditors, bank reconciliations, and monthly payments in a small team. The role includes preparing financial reports and handling Pastel Payroll along with IQ Retail for the organisation in the Western Cape.

Ideal candidates have at least 3 years in bookkeeping, a Grade 12/National Senior Certificate, and a tertiary qualification is a plus. Own transport and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / NSC is required.
• At least 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with Pastel is advantageous.
• Own reliable transport and a valid driver’s license.
• Strong accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Debtors and Creditors / general bookkeeping.
• Reconciling bank accounts.
• Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations.
• Preparation of monthly creditor payments.
• Preparing financial reports and statements.
• EFT payment and transfers.
• Monitoring of monthly outstanding accounts.
• General banking.
• Salaries and wages: Pastel Payroll.
