Job summary

Well established, international client in Stellenbosch seeks a senior bookkeeper with accruals and pre-payments knowledge to join a busy finance department at Techno Park, Stellenbosch. The Bookkeeper will be part of a dynamic finance team.

Requirements include minimum 5 years in full-function bookkeeping, proficiency in Excel, and Sage 50/200 experience (advantageous). Matric with Accountancy/Mathematics preferred; must reside in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Min 5 years experience in full function bookkeeping.
• Be proficient in Excel.
• Experience in Sage 50 / Sage 200 (Advantageous).
• Excellent verbal and written skills with a positive, proactive attitude.
• Matric Accountancy and/or Mathematics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Daily reconciliation of bank accounts, including posting to Sage for payments/receipts.
• Management of the Purchase and Sales Ledger.
• Daily submissions of Direct Debits.
• Support the team with reconciliations.

Well established, international client has an opportunity for an experienced senior bookkeeper with knowledge of accruals and pre-payments to assist in their busy financial department. Candidate will be based in Techno Park, Stellenbosch. The Bookkeeper will be part of a dynamic finance team.

Duties will include but not limited to:

• Daily reconciliation of bank accounts, including posting to Sage for any payments/receipts
• Responsibility for the operation of the Purchase and Sales Ledger
• Daily submissions of Direct Debits
• Supporting team with reconciliations

The successful candidate will:

• Min 5 years experience in full function bookkeeping
• Experience in Sage 50 / Sage 200 (Advantageous)
