Job summary

cquail is seeking a Boilermaker to perform fabrication, welding, repair and installation on structural components in mining and heavy engineering environments.

You will read drawings, ensure weld integrity, support maintenance activities, and maintain safety during hot-work operations on site.

Qualifications

• Recognised Boilermaker trade qualification or equivalent proven heavy-fabrication experience.
• Relevant experience in mining, heavy engineering, construction or industrial maintenance.
• Strong welding and fabrication capability.
• Ability to read fabrication drawings and work safely in site environments.
• Medical fitness for operational work.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate, assemble and repair steel structures, brackets, guards, chutes, frames and equipment components.
• Perform welding, cutting, grinding and fitting work to approved standards.
• Carry out site repairs and modifications on heavy equipment and project infrastructure.
• Read and interpret fabrication drawings and measurements.
