Placements24, a forward-thinking technology company, is seeking a Blockchain Solutions Engineer for an on-site role in Randburg, Gauteng. You will design, develop, and deploy enterprise blockchain systems, translate client needs into architectures, and integrate solutions with existing IT.

You will work with Solidity, Chaincode, Go, Java, JavaScript, and Python across platforms like Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, and Corda, leveraging AWS/Azure and Docker/Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Software Engineer or Solutions Architect with a focus on blockchain technology.
• Hands-on experience developing and deploying smart contracts (Solidity, Chaincode).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• Understanding of blockchain platforms (Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum, Corda).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and distributed systems.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
