Placements24 is seeking an innovative Blockchain Solutions Architect to design and oversee the implementation of next-generation blockchain initiatives in Stellenbosch. You will translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and efficient blockchain architectures, guiding development teams from concept to deployment.

This role demands deep knowledge of major blockchain platforms and consensus mechanisms, as well as experience in smart contracts and dApps.

Qualifications

Master's degree or equivalent in CS/IT or related field.
7+ years of software architecture experience with a blockchain specialization.
In-depth knowledge of Ethereum, Hyperledger Fabric, and Corda.
Experience in designing smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps).
Strong understanding of distributed systems, cryptography, and network security principles.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Design end-to-end blockchain solutions tailored to specific business needs and use cases.
Evaluate and select appropriate blockchain platforms, protocols, and technologies for implementation.
Create architectural blueprints, technical specifications, and documentation for blockchain systems.
Collaborate with development teams, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on blockchain best practices, security, and scalability.
Stay current with emerging blockchain trends, tools, and methodologies to inform architectural decisions.
