About the Role

Our client is seeking an innovative Blockchain Solutions Architect to lead the design and implementation of strategic blockchain initiatives in George . In this senior role, you will translate complex business requirements into robust, scalable, and secure blockchain architectures. You will play a key role in shaping the future of our client's digital strategy, leveraging your deep understanding of crypto and blockchain technologies to build foundational systems. This is a critical position for someone passionate about decentralized technologies and their application within the Western Cape business environment.

Key Responsibilities

Design and document end-to-end blockchain solutions , including network topology, consensus mechanisms, and integration points.
Evaluate and recommend appropriate blockchain platforms and technologies based on project requirements and business objectives.
Develop technical roadmaps and architectural blueprints for enterprise-grade blockchain applications.
Collaborate with development teams, stakeholders, and external partners to ensure successful implementation of architectural designs.
Provide technical leadership and guidance on blockchain best practices , security, and scalability.
Identify and assess emerging trends and technologies in the cryptocurrency and distributed ledger space.

Requirements

Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
10+ years of experience in software architecture and solution design, with a significant portion focused on blockchain technologies .
Proven experience designing and architecting complex enterprise-level blockchain solutions.
In-depth knowledge of various blockchain protocols (e.g., Ethereum, Bitcoin, Hyperledger), consensus algorithms, and cryptography.
Familiarity with smart contract development, dApp ecosystems , and tokenomics.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
