Placements24 is seeking a Blockchain Solutions Engineer in Centurion to translate complex business requirements into practical blockchain solutions while integrating technology into existing enterprise systems.

You will develop PoCs and MVPs for blockchain applications, work with APIs, and provide technical guidance on best practices in a fast-paced office environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in blockchain development or solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Familiarity with Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum and smart contract development.
• Experience with API design and integration; solid cryptographic understanding.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and design robust, scalable blockchain solutions to meet specific objectives.
• Develop and implement proof-of-concepts (PoCs) and minimum viable products (MVPs) for blockchain applications.
• Integrate blockchain solutions with enterprise applications and databases using APIs and other tools.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on blockchain implementation best practices to internal teams and clients.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to blockchain network performance and application functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 2 years focusing on blockchain development or solutions.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in blockchain, such as Python, JavaScript, or Java.
• Familiarity with blockchain platforms (e.g., Hyperledger Fabric, Ethereum) and smart contract development.
