Placements24 is seeking a skilled Blockchain Platform Engineer to join the team in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. You will build and scale core infrastructure supporting blockchain operations, ensuring reliability, security and performance across networks and services.

You will design and manage nodes, implement security protocols, monitor performance, and automate deployment and scaling of blockchain services, collaborating with software teams for seamless integration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Platform Engineer or in a similar infrastructure role.
• Strong understanding of blockchain protocols and their architecture.
• Proficiency in system administration, network configuration and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in a distributed systems environment.
