Job summary

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Biochemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years hands-on bioprocess development and scale-up experience.
• Proven expertise in bioreactor operation, cell line development, and downstream purification.
• Strong understanding of molecular biology, biochemistry, and cell biology principles.
• Proficiency in data analysis software (JMP, R, Python) and design of experiments.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute experiments to develop and optimize bioprocesses (e.g., microbial fermentation, mammalian cell culture, protein purification).
• Scale up processes from laboratory bench to pilot and manufacturing scales, ensuring robustness and reproducibility.
• Analyze process data using statistical methods and interpret results to guide improvements.
• Troubleshoot process deviations and implement effective solutions.
• Develop and validate analytical methods for monitoring bioprocess performance and product quality.
• Author technical reports, protocols, and development documentation.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams.
• Stay current with scientific literature and emerging technologies in bioprocess development.
