Job summary

AECOM in Cape Town is seeking a BIM technical professional to model and manage building information models under supervision. You will produce deliverables that meet client requirements and the BIM Execution Plan, and support coordination across the project using Navisworks and BIM360.

The role requires a minimum of 1 year in Revit modelling, knowledge of BIM standards, and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines while delivering quality drawings and models for various structures

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Revit modelling experience.
• Knowledge of BIM standards, processes and approaches.
• Understanding of concrete, steelwork and reinforcement 3D modelling.

Responsibilities

• Model and deliver BIM workflows with direct supervision.
• Prepare BIM models and deliverables per client requirements and BIM Execution Plan.
• Check completeness and accuracy before senior review.
• Support coordination using Navisworks and other tools during delivery.
• Manage in-coming and out-going model and drawing information.
• Handle BIM360 project management and coordination.
• Organise work to meet deadlines.
• Stay updated on software and techniques to improve productivity.
