Job summary

Assegai currently seeks an experienced drafter to produce accurate civil and electrical drawings and BIM models, supporting coordinated project delivery across renewable energy, transmission, distribution and infrastructure initiatives. You will develop drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit, ensuring compliance with standards and delivering complete documentation.

Collaborating with engineers and BIM teams, you will review outputs for accuracy, manage deliverables and contribute to process

Qualifications

• Relevant experience producing engineering drawings and BIM models in a consulting/engineering environment.
• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Understanding of BIM and multidisciplinary design coordination.
• Ability to produce accurate, well-coordinated drawings and models.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to manage deliverables and work to project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain civil and electrical engineering drawings, models and associated project documentation.
• Support renewable energy, transmission, distribution and infrastructure projects through different stages of design.
• Develop drawings and models using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Revit.
• Work closely with engineers, BIM team members and other disciplines to ensure coordinated design outputs.
• Review and self-check drawings, models and documentation for accuracy, completeness and coordination before issue.
• Identify and resolve drawing, modelling and multidisciplinary coordination issues.
• Ensure project outputs comply with applicable project standards, procedures and document-control requirements.
• Maintain accurate design records and project documentation.
• Meet agreed project deadlines and support efficient delivery of assigned work.
• Apply BIM, CAD and other digital tools effectively throughout project delivery.
• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of BIM, CAD and digital design processes.
• Participate in knowledge sharing and continue developing technical and digital modelling capability.
