Job summary

Talent Evolution (Pty) Ltd in Pretoria East is seeking a Financial Assistant / Bookkeeper fluent in Afrikaans and English. The role involves bank reconciliation, invoicing, creditor processing, and reporting, with support to the Head of Finance and owner.

The position requires a Matric with strong maths, a financial diploma, and 5+ years’ experience; experience with Sage One, Excel, Word, and Monday.com is advantageous. MacBook proficiency is preferred.

Qualifications

Matric with high marks in mathematics and preferably accounting.
Financial diploma preferably.
More than 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
Familiar with and able to operate a MacBook.
Sage One experience is a requirement.
Good Excel and Word experience is a requirement.
Monday.com experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Capturing and reconciling the bank constantly throughout the day.
Issuing sales orders and invoices, as well as ensuring data accuracy of Debtors.
Processing Creditor invoices and reconciliations, as well as validating the pricing of the creditors.
Order processing, tracking and reporting.
Updating, maintaining and reconciling various information sheets.
Loading payments on the bank.
Submitting order details and documentation on various WhatsApp groups.
Maintaining a good electronic and paper filing system.
Assisting Head of Finance and the business Owner with various tasks.
Secretarial tasks.
Ad hoc tasks.
Updating business Owner on various financial information.
Updating business Owner when Head of Finance is on leave.
Assisting with various other Head of Finance tasks when he is on leave
