Tiger Brands is seeking a Reliever in Beverages Packaging to support the packaging team during shifts when regular staff are unavailable. The role ensures smooth operations, production continuity, and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities include operating packaging machinery, managing materials, and maintaining hygiene in the packaging area. Candidates should be able to work across different lines and shifts, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in manufacturing or packaging is a plus but not required.
• Ability to operate basic packaging equipment and follow instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Willingness to work across different shifts and packaging lines.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor beverage packaging machinery (bottling, labeling, sealing, palletizing).
• Ensure packaging materials are available and properly loaded.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the packaging area to hygiene standards.
• Conduct routine checks to ensure packaging quality meets specifications.
• Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
• Follow SOPs and comply with health, safety, and food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory control of packaging materials when required.
• Provide support across different packaging lines as needed.
• Collaborate with team to meet daily production targets.
