Tiger Brands in Gauteng seeks an experienced packaging professional to lead development and re‑engineering of packaging across products. You will manage from concept through to commercialisation, ensuring cost‑effective, compliant packaging that meets product and manufacturing needs.

Responsibilities include coordinating trials, documentation, and supplier interactions, with focus on sustainability and process improvements. Prior experience in FMCG packaging is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years in packaging development within an FMCG industry.
• Packaging Diploma or equivalent.
• Food Science Qualification or similar would be an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Develop packaging design and specifications to support product requirements and manufacturing needs.
• Coordinate with Product Technologist and Manufacturing to ensure feasible packaging solutions.
• Manage packaging documentation, trials, and sign‑offs (PLM, Oracle/SAP as applicable).
• Oversee artwork management, supplier liaison, and print approvals to ensure packaging within spec.
