Job summary

United Exports in Naboomspruit, Limpopo, is seeking a Production Manager to lead and optimize our farm operations, oversee daily activities, manage teams, and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced farming environment. You will coordinate planting, pruning, harvesting, irrigation, pest control, and compliance with GAP and other standards, while contributing to budgeting and cost control.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, or related field.
• Additional irrigation, plant production, scouting certifications are advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ farm management experience in a commercial farming environment.
• Strong experience across full crop production cycle from land prep to harvest.
• Experience in berry or fruit production is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise planting, pruning, harvesting, fertigation, and pest control.
• Monitor crop health via soil and leaf analysis.
• Ensure production targets and quality standards are met.
• Oversee maintenance of farming areas and equipment.
• Coordinate activities with technical, engineering, and maintenance teams.
• Assist with production budgeting and cost control.
• Lead senior team leaders and drive performance.
• Maintain production records and comply with GAP and standards.
• Ensure safety, policies, and regulatory compliance.
