Le Parc by tashas in Mouille Point is seeking passionate Baristas to join our opening team. You will craft espresso-based beverages and unique drinks, delivering exceptional guest experiences with a focus on quality and hospitality.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Barista within premium cafe, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Excellent knowledge of espresso preparation, milk texturing and coffee extraction.
• Experience preparing specialty beverages, smoothies and basic cocktails is advantageous.
• A genuine passion for coffee, hospitality and guest experience.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• A calm and organized approach in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve espresso-based coffee and beverages to the highest brand standards.
• Craft a variety of drinks, including coffees, smoothies, shakes and selected alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and consistency.
• Ensure every beverage is beautifully presented and prepared with care.
• Monitor coffee quality, grinder calibration and espresso extraction to maintain exceptional standards.
• Prepare fresh ingredients and mise en place before every service.
• Continuously maintain product knowledge to confidently explain beverages, ingredients and flavour profiles to guests.
• Welcome guests warmly and create meaningful interactions throughout their visit.
• Make thoughtful beverage recommendations based on guest preferences.
• Ensure every order is prepared accurately and delivered efficiently.
• Anticipate guest needs and contribute to a seamless dining experience.
• Maintain professionalism, warmth and genuine hospitality in every interaction.
• Ensure the coffee bar is clean, organised, fully stocked and ready for service at all times.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock requirements proactively.
• Restock supplies and maintain appropriate levels of ingredients, glassware and bar equipment.
• Monitor fridge temperatures and ensure ingredients are stored correctly.
• Maintain coffee machines, grinders and bar equipment in excellent working condition.
• Support continuous improvements in beverage quality and operational efficiency.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Front and Back of House to deliver exceptional service.
• Support the onboarding and development of new team members.
• Share knowledge and contribute to a positive, professional working environment.
