Placements24 is seeking an energetic Bar Manager for a chic upscale lounge in Soweto, Gauteng. You will lead beverage operations, supervise staff, manage inventory, and ensure exceptional service to patrons through creative cocktails and a polished bar atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in bar management or a senior supervisory role within the beverage or hospitality industry.
• Proven experience in staff management, training, and performance evaluation.
• Strong knowledge of mixology, wine, spirits, and craft beers.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with inventory management and cost control.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
• A passion for creating innovative cocktails and a great bar atmosphere.
• Proficiency in POS systems.
• Knowledge of the Soweto entertainment scene is a plus.
• Must have the legal right to work in South Africa.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily bar operations, ensuring efficiency and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage bar staff, including scheduling, training, performance management, and motivation.
