Job summary

Edgexec (Pty) Ltd in Polokwane invites a reliable Driver Salesman to join our FMCG delivery team. You will deliver bakery products on schedule, service customers, and manage stock and cash handling on-route.

You will build strong customer relationships, identify new sales opportunities, and ensure vehicle and route discipline while maintaining hygiene and safety standards. Valid Code 10 license and PrDP required.

Qualifications

• Matric required with good numeracy.
• Code 10 driver''s licence and PrDP required.
• 1–2 years of professional Code 10 driving experience.
• Previous sales or route sales experience is advantageous.
• Strong customer service, cash handling, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bakery products safely and on schedule.
• Achieve daily and monthly sales targets.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Identify new customers and sales opportunities along your route.
• Ensure timely deliveries and communicate any delays.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Collect customer payments and ensure accurate cash handling.
• Obtain Proof of Delivery for every delivery.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and care for company assets.
• Manage returns and stock reconciliation.
• Report competitor activity and market feedback.
• Supervise and support the Van Assistant while ensuring compliance with hygiene and safety standards.
