Qualifications

  • A relevant bachelor’s degree.
  • One to two years’ practical writing experience via journalism, internships, freelance work, or student publications.
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • Confidence to contact people, conduct interviews and follow up information.
  • Interest in business, current affairs and the economics of travel.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organisational skills and ability to meet daily deadlines.
  • Outgoing, professional and willing to attend industry events.
  • Valid driver’s licence and own transport.

  • Work closely with editors to develop stories and improve reporting and writing skills.
  • Meet daily deadlines while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Stay up to date with current affairs, business news and developments across the travel and tourism sector.
What will you need:
