Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an experienced DevOps professional to automate solutions and streamline deployments in Azure. You will collaborate with Development and Operations teams to design, implement, and optimize scalable cloud deployments.

Responsibilities include defining deployment frameworks for complex Azure environments, providing guidance on CI/CD, and acting as a trusted DevOps advisor to ensure reliable, secure, and highly available applications.

Qualifications

Azure DevOps Associate Certification and other cloud/DevOps certifications.
Strong understanding of AKS and ACS (Azure Kubernetes Services/Container Services).
6+ years in industry, including 3 years in a complex hosting environment.
Strong scripting (Python, SQL) and automation skills.
Experience with configuration tools like Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
Experience with Agile software development and project management methodologies.

Responsibilities

Automate solutions and integrate them with other services/products/solutions.
Provide guidance and assist teams in DevOps deployment projects or operational tasks.
Define development frameworks for complex deployments in the Azure Cloud.
Be a trusted DevOps advisor with practical ideas and insights.
Participate in high-level technical solution definition and design for reliable, stable applications.
Write and execute cloud formation templates and integrate with CI/CD pipelines.
