Placements24 is seeking an experienced Avionics Systems Engineer to join our client’s Richards Bay team. You will design, integrate, test, and support advanced avionics systems for modern aircraft, ensuring reliable communication, navigation, and flight control performance.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, with hands-on experience in avionics, ARINC MIL-STD, and system modeling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven avionics design and integration experience.
• Familiar with ARINC, MIL-STD avionics standards.
• Experience with simulation and modeling tools for avionics systems.
• Strong knowledge of flight control, navigation, and communication systems.
• Analytical and detail-oriented problem-solver.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate avionics systems for aircraft programs.
• Perform testing, validation, and verification for performance and compliance.
• Troubleshoot avionics issues and develop engineering solutions.
• Create design documentation, schematics, specifications, and test procedures.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, and airframe teams.
• Provide technical support during flight testing and operations.
