Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aviation Systems Integrator for its client in Bloemfontein to oversee seamless avionic system integration. The role requires a strong systems engineering background with expertise in avionics, software, and hardware integration for aircraft platforms.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years in aviation or defence systems integration, familiarity with MIL-STD, and the ability to guide design reviews and test activities.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems integration in aviation/defence.
• Proven experience integrating complex avionics systems (EFIS, FMS, SATCOM).
• Strong understanding of system engineering principles and methodologies.
• Proficiency with integration tools and techniques.
• Experience with V&V processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD is an advantage.
• Must be eligible for security clearance.

This role is responsible for the seamless integration of complex avionic systems, ensuring all components work harmoniously to meet performance and safety specifications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering, with a deep understanding of avionics, software, and hardware integration within aircraft platforms.
