Placements24 seeks an experienced Avionics Systems Engineer to design, integrate, test, and support avionics for our aircraft fleet in Tembisa. You will ensure reliability, performance, and safety of installations, while collaborating with engineering and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

The role requires a bachelor's in Electrical/Avionics and 5+ years' experience, with strong knowledge of comms, navigation, flight controls, and regulatory standards (EASA/FAA).

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics, or related field.
Minimum 5 years' experience in avionics systems engineering in aviation.
Strong knowledge of aircraft comms, navigation, and flight controls.
Experience with avionics testing equipment and simulation tools.
Familiarity with EASA/FAA regulations.
Ability to work under pressure in Tembisa.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement avionics system configurations and upgrades.
