Placements24 is seeking an experienced Aviation Safety & Compliance Auditor to join its Soweto corporate office. You will ensure all operations meet national and international aviation safety standards, conduct audits, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement in safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include planning and performing internal audits of procedures and SMS, assessing SACAA and ICAO compliance, preparing detailed reports with findings, tracking corrective actions,

Qualifications

• Degree or professional qualification in aviation management, safety, or related field.
• Experience as Aviation Auditor or in a senior safety/compliance role within aviation.
• In-depth knowledge of aviation regulations (SACAA, ICAO) and safety management principles.
• Understanding of aviation operational processes and MRO practices.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent report writing and presentation abilities.
• Ability to travel for audits.

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly experienced and meticulous Aviation Safety & Compliance Auditor to join their corporate office in Soweto . This critical role ensures that all operational activities and procedures adhere strictly to national and international aviation safety regulations and standards. You will conduct comprehensive audits, identify potential risks, and develop strategies for continuous improvement in safety and compliance across the organization, playing a vital role in maintaining the highest levels of operational integrity and safety within the aviation industry .

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on corrective actions to ensure their effective implementation and verification.
• Stay updated on changes in aviation legislation, standards, and best practices.
