About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven Aviation Project Manager to lead key projects within their organization based in Randburg . This role requires a strategic thinker adept at managing complex aviation-related initiatives from conception through completion. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget, while coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, coupled with a deep understanding of the aviation industry's unique demands and regulatory landscape, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
• Develop and manage detailed project plans, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Coordinate and manage internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of milestones.
• Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
• Ensure all project documentation is maintained, shared, and archived appropriately.

Requirements

• Proven working experience in project management within the aviation industry.
• Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills, with proficiency in written and verbal communication.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Demonstrable experience leading and managing construction, technology, or operational projects in aviation.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is highly desirable for this role in Randburg .
