The role requires a degree in aerospace or related field, experience in aviation data analysis, and proficiency with Excel, Python or MATLAB. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative aerospace-related field.
• Experience as Aircraft Performance Analyst or similar data role in aviation.
• Proficiency in Excel, Python, MATLAB and database management.
• Strong understanding of aircraft systems, aerodynamics, and flight operations.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze, and interpret flight data to assess aircraft performance, fuel burn, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and maintain performance models and databases for the fleet.
• Identify trends and anomalies in performance data and recommend corrective actions to improve efficiency.
• Assist in flight planning by providing performance data and route optimization analysis.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on aircraft performance metrics for stakeholders in Vereeniging.
