Placements24 is seeking a Senior Aviation Logistics Coordinator in Randburg to lead end-to-end logistics for aviation parts and equipment. You will optimize inventory, coordinate shipments, and ensure regulatory compliance in a hybrid role that blends on-site collaboration with remote flexibility.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in aviation logistics, strong ERP and inventory systems experience, and expert knowledge of international shipping, customs, and dangerous goods handling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably within the aviation or aerospace industry.
• Proven experience with inventory management systems and ERP software.
• Strong understanding of international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and dangerous goods handling.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills for a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the end-to-end logistics and supply chain operations for aviation parts and equipment.
• Coordinate the timely procurement, shipping, and delivery of critical components, ensuring compliance with all aviation regulations.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and manage warehouse operations, including storage, tracking, and distribution.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics costs and improve delivery efficiency.
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors, airlines, and regulatory bodies to ensure smooth operations.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in Randburg.
