Placements24 is recruiting an Aviation Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to aviation laws, regulations, and industry standards across its Kimberley operations and beyond.

You will develop and implement compliance programs, conduct audits, provide guidance to teams, and act as the primary contact for regulators, safeguarding license to operate.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law, Aviation Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 6+ years in aviation regulatory compliance, safety management, or quality assurance.
• Extensive knowledge of South African and international aviation regulations.
• Proven experience in conducting audits and investigations.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High integrity and ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the aviation compliance program.
• Monitor changes in SACAA, ICAO regulations and assess their impact on operations.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.

About the Role

A prominent aviation services group requires an Aviation Compliance Manager to ensure adherence to all relevant aviation laws, regulations, and industry standards across its operations in Kimberley and beyond. This role is pivotal in maintaining the company’s license to operate and upholding its reputation for safety and quality. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance programs, conducting audits, and providing guidance to operational teams. This is a strategic position for a professional with a strong grasp of aviation regulatory frameworks in the Northern Cape .

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the company's aviation compliance program.
• Monitor changes in aviation regulations (SACAA, ICAO, etc.) and assess their impact on operations.
• Conduct internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Investigate compliance breaches, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.

• Provide training and guidance to staff on compliance requirements.

Requirements
