Job summary

Hire Feed seeks a Member of Technical Staff, Robotics Research to advance autonomous navigation systems for industrial robotic platforms. The role emphasizes algorithmic improvements in sensor fusion and real-time decision-making frameworks.

The candidate will design perception algorithms, develop path planning, lead experimental validation, and collaborate across teams to bring research prototypes into production-grade systems. Publication of findings is encouraged.

Qualifications

• PhD or Master’s in Robotics, CS, EE, or related field.
• 5+ years of hands-on robotics research focusing on autonomy or manipulation.
• Proficient in C++ and Python for algorithm development.
• Strong background in SLAM, sensor fusion, or RL for robotics.
• Experience with ROS/ROS2 and Gazebo for simulation and development.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement perception algorithms for multi-modal sensor integration in dynamic environments.
• Develop and optimize path planning and motion control systems for robotic platforms.
• Lead experimental validation of robotic systems in simulation and real-world deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate research prototypes into production-grade systems.
• Publish findings in peer-reviewed conferences and journals.
