Responsibilities include supervising daily workshop operations, mentoring staff, coordinating workflow, and ensuring adherence to manufacturer standards. A Red Seal Trade Test and franchise experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with Red Seal Trade Test.
• Experience as Workshop Foreman in a franchised motor dealership is essential.
• Experience with a volume passenger vehicle brand.
• Strong understanding of workshop productivity, efficiency, and quality control processes.
• Proven leadership of high-performing technical teams.
• Valid driver''s licence and ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily workshop operations to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Provide technical support and guidance to technicians and apprentices.
• Manage workshop loading, job allocation, and workflow planning.
• Ensure repair and maintenance work meets manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Monitor productivity, efficiency and workshop performance targets.
• Conduct quality control inspections on completed work.
• Mentor, train and develop workshop staff.
• Assist in achieving departmental profitability and customer satisfaction objectives.
