Job summary

Mototeam (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Warranty Clerk to bridge the technical team and customers, ensuring cost-effective repairs and compliant warranty claims. You will load claims, manage the store, and conduct audits to uphold standards.

Ideal candidates have 2–3 years in automotive service in a technical or warranty-adjacent role, with a valid driver’s license and solid computer skills. OEM exposure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• 2–3 years in automotive service with technical, service-advisor, or warranty clerk experience.
• Direct warranty or costing clerk experience is highly desired.
• OEM interaction experience is advantageous.
• Valid, unendorsed driver’s license and computer literacy are required.
• Knowledge of dealership policies and motor industry standards is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be the vital link between the technical team and the customer, ensuring cost-effective repairs while managing warranty claims in alignment with OEM requirements.
• Load and submit all warranty claims on the system following SOPs and manufacturer guidelines.
• Manage and oversee the warranty claim store with accurate tracking and organization.
• Conduct regular warranty process audits to maintain compliance and accuracy.
• Dispose of warranty parts in line with procedures, coordinating with RSM as needed.
• Follow up on outstanding warranty claims and payments to ensure timely resolution.
