You will work with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines, improve testing methodologies, and ensure test coverage meets project quality standards.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in test automation within the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, or CAPL.
• Experience with automotive test automation tools (Vector, Jenkins, TestStand).
• Understanding of software testing principles and automotive protocols (CAN, LIN, Automotive Ethernet).

About the Role

Our client, a prominent automotive manufacturer, is seeking a dedicated Automotive Test Automation Engineer to enhance their product development lifecycle. This role is essential for designing, developing, and implementing automated test frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of automotive software and systems. You will work closely with development and QA teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration pipeline. This hands-on position is based at our state-of-the-art facility in East London, Eastern Cape, ZA , providing a collaborative and innovative work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test frameworks for automotive software and hardware.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using various programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, CAPL).
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure rapid feedback.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and report issues clearly to development teams.

Requirements
