Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Apprentice Technician in Centurion for a hands-on training program designed to develop fully qualified automotive technicians. You will learn maintenance, diagnostics, and repair tasks under experienced mechanics in a modern workshop.

The program provides practical experience across vehicle systems, with opportunities to earn trade certifications and advance within the automotive group.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 (Matric) or equivalent.
• A genuine passion for automobiles and a strong desire to learn automotive repair.
• Basic understanding of mechanical principles.
• Good manual dexterity and physical fitness for the demands of the role.
• Commitment to following safety procedures and workshop guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in performing routine vehicle maintenance.
• Learn to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in various vehicle makes and models.
• Support senior technicians in conducting complex repairs and system diagnostics.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools effectively and safely.
