Job summary

Ford in South Africa is seeking a Training Specialist to deliver technical training to dealership technicians across the market. You will review curriculum, translate materials for local language readiness, and develop FIRFT-based courses to raise performance.

You’ll arrange training rooms, prepare slides and worksheets, and supervise hands-on demonstrations. You will ensure training complies with safety standards and maintain facility readiness, tools, and records in STARS.

Qualifications

• Strong technical knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics.
• Ability to present, facilitate, and engage technicians during training.
• Identify training gaps and implement corrective actions within Ford curricula.

Responsibilities

• Deliver technical training across dealership networks using curriculum and materials.
• Review and adjust training materials for quality and market relevance.
• Translate and adapt materials to local language and content.
• Develop FIRFT-based courses based on market needs.
• Prepare training slides, worksheets, questions, and attendee records.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations of Ford vehicle systems for technicians.
• Ensure training programs comply with industry regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain readiness of training facilities, tools, equipment and safety checks.
• Update attendance and learner records in STARS and training databases.
• Support market activities and guide technicians on certification paths.
