Job summary

A leading automotive manufacturing company is seeking a qualified project manager to oversee department activities and ensure quality standards throughout project timelines. The ideal candidate must have a National Diploma or Degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of relevant automotive manufacturing experience. Responsibilities include managing project activities, representing QAVM EOL in meetings, and ensuring that all components meet quality specifications. Strong understanding of vehicle processes is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years relevant automotive manufacturing experience.
• Proven experience in managing projects within timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead all departmental project activities and ensure quality signoffs.
• Manage and drive project-related activities during various phases.
• Represent QAVM EOL at inter-divisional project meetings.
• Approve fitment trails of new and changed product parts.
• Generate project investment requirements and control expenditure.

Skills

Understanding of the vehicle build process

In-depth knowledge of vehicle release processes

Knowledge of vehicle components and systems

Working knowledge of the equipment, fixtures and tools

Good computer skills (MS Office, SharePoint)

Education

National Diploma/Degree in Engineering

B-Tech in Quality (added advantage)
