Job summary

Profile Personnel is seeking a Maintenance Planner for an automotive company based in Kariega. The role involves ensuring that all plant and machinery in the Assembly Plant are maintained efficiently and safely.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering along with 3-5 years of experience in automotive maintenance planning. Responsibilities include managing maintenance schedules, supporting supervisors, and implementing improvements.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience as a Maintenance Planner in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on experience with preventative and predictive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and implement continuous improvement processes for maintenance.
• Support maintenance supervisors with technical expertise.
• Analyze major plant stoppages and implement countermeasures.
• Control maintenance schedules and systems to determine corrective actions.
• Manage cleaning contractors and ensure effective service.
