Job summary

Mototeam (Pty) Ltd in Gauteng seeks an experienced Finance Manager to take full responsibility for financial control, reporting, budgeting and cash-flow management within a car dealership group. You will oversee VAT, goAML, audits and BBBEE, while leading finance and admin staff to ensure accurate month-end deliverables.

The role requires a strong track record in dealership accounting, compliance with OEM policies, and the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Relevant financial/accounting qualification.
• Minimum 5 years' relevant financial management experience, preferably in automotive retail.
• Strong dealership accounting experience.
• Excellent knowledge of financial controls, reconciliations and management accounts.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management skills.
• Experience with VAT, FIC, goAML and statutory reporting.
• Audit and year-end financial reporting experience.

Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for the financial control function.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs.
• Manage daily cash flow and optimise available funds.
• Oversee collections and outstanding debtor balances.
• Lead, train, motivate and support finance and administration personnel.
• Prepare monthly management accounts and ensure balance-sheet reconciliations are completed.
• Oversee BBBEE administration, including Procurement, CSI, ED/SED and Skills.
• Provide financial insight and support to the Dealer Principal and management team.
