Job summary

Motorecuit seeks an experienced Financial Manager to lead the dealership's financial control, reporting, compliance, and accounting functions in Gauteng. You will oversee cash flow, statutory submissions, and balance-sheet reconciliations while guiding finance staff and ensuring adherence to OEM and group policies.

The role requires a strong accounting background, 5+ years in financial management, and knowledge of DMS and VAT/goAML.

Qualifications

• Relevant financial/accounting qualification is required.
• Minimum 5 years' financial management experience in automotive retail preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial controls, reporting and cash-flow management.
• Experience with VAT, FIC/goAML and statutory reporting is advantageous.
• BBBEE exposure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial control function and monthly management accounts.
• Ensure compliance with OEM/group policies and procedures.
• Manage cash flow, reconciliations, and balance sheet accuracy.
• Coordinate payroll submissions with HR and timeous reporting.
• Lead and develop finance and administration staff.
