Job summary

Network Finance is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager for a well-established automotive manufacturing client. The role focuses on leading the engineering function, driving process optimisation, project delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will oversee lean manufacturing practices, support new product introductions, and ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 standards. Responsibilities include budgeting, cross-functional leadership, and advanced automation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ Engineering Management experience in automotive manufacturing
• Strong project management and process improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) expertise
• Knowledge of automotive quality systems (IATF 16949, ISO 14001)
• Proven leadership, analytical, and cross-functional stakeholder management skill

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the engineering function, overseeing process optimisation, project delivery, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Drive lean manufacturing practices, support new product introductions, and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
• Manage budgets, lead cross-functional teams, and provide technical expertise in automation, tooling, and process control, while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.
