Placements24 seeks an experienced Automotive Technician specialized in diagnostics for a busy service center in Tembisa. You will diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair a wide range of vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic equipment, delivering high-quality service.

You will work with a dedicated team to uphold manufacturer guidelines and customer satisfaction, with opportunities for ongoing training and a competitive compensation package.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong emphasis on diagnostics.
High school diploma or equivalent; ASE certifications are highly preferred.
Proficiency with diagnostic software and scan tools.
Strong understanding of automotive electrical systems, engine performance, and driveability.

Responsibilities

Perform complex diagnostic procedures on all makes and models of vehicles.
Identify root causes of mechanical and electrical issues and recommend repairs.
Conduct routine maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to assess vehicle conditions and communicate findings.
