Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma/BTech/BEng/BSc Engineering in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Instrumentation or related discipline.
• Strong technical aptitude and interest in industrial automation, sensors and precision engineering.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confidence to engage with engineers and other technical professionals.
• Self-motivated, inquisitive and eager to develop specialist expertise.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Previous experience in industrial automation, instrumentation or technical sales is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Consult with engineers, technical specialists and industrial clients to understand their application requirements.
• Recommending specialised products and engineering solutions for industrial machinery and automated processes.
• Working with precision measurement equipment, encoders, position sensors and related automation technologies.
• Providing technical product advice and application support.
• Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers while identifying new business opportunities.
• Preparing technical quotations and assisting with product selection.
• Conducting client visits, technical discussions and product presentations.
• Developing in-depth knowledge of specialised international engineering products.
