Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or National Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in field service or technical support for automation systems.
• Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Siemens, Allen-Bradley), robotics, and industrial networking.
• Ability to interpret complex electrical and mechanical schematics and documentation.
• Valid South African driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within Pretoria and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, and service automation equipment and control systems at client sites.
• Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to PLC, HMI, robotics, and other automation components.
• Perform regular preventive maintenance and system upgrades to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Provide technical training and support to client personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to provide feedback for product improvement and development.
• Maintain accurate service reports, including all actions taken and recommendations for future service.
