Job summary

GAP Consulting in Gauteng seeks a seasoned Technical Sales Specialist to drive sales in Building Automation, HVAC and related industrial sectors. You will engage clients, present solutions, and coordinate with engineering teams to tailor BMS and IoT offerings.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in technical sales, a related engineering diploma or degree, and solid CRM/MS Office skills. A valid driver’s license and reliable transport are required for on-site visits across the region.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience as Technical Sales Specialist or Sales Engineer in Building Automation, HVAC, Industrial Automation or Electrical Controls.
• National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation or related field.
• Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience essential.
• Strong knowledge of BMS, DDC, HVAC controls, VSDs, Industrial Automation, IoT/Smart Building tech preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and own transport; references and payslips available.
