Job summary

MyCareerCraft is seeking a hands-on Store Manager to take full responsibility for running a retail store supplying automotive parts and services in Johannesburg. You will oversee daily operations from opening to close, manage stock, pricing, and promotions, and ensure customers are assisted promptly and professionally.

You will lead a diverse team including sales staff, technical support, general workers, and a driver, while handling performance, training, and compliance with health and safety,

Qualifications

• Completed diploma (min) in Business Admin, Sales, or Marketing.
• At least 5 years in retail, with 3 in a supervisory role.
• Experience with stock management, pricing, and sales targets.
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Reliable, practical, and able to perform under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing all store operations from opening to closing.
• Managing stock levels, pricing, and promotions.
• Making sure customers are helped quickly and professionally.
• Leading a team that includes sales staff, technical support, general workers, and a driver.
• Handling staff performance, training, and general support.
• Making sure all health and safety, company policies, and legal requirements are followed.
